Last weekend was the first of two of the Farmer’s Market at Creake Abbey (The second is Saturday 21st December - pop it in your diary!) and lots of customers have been busy buying Christmas gifts in store and discovering some great new products for their special little ones. If you’re unsure of what to buy we’re on hand in store to help choose the perfect gift or a gift voucher for any amount and we also offer complimentary gift wrapping too, one less job for you!

We’re particularly excited to be stocking two new toy brands Kiko+ and gg* and Kids Concept. Kiko+ is a Japanese brand that produce wonderful tactile wooden toys that really inspire children’s imaginations. We particularly love the Parisian and London City scenes and their little wooden acorns make great stocking fillers.

Kids Concept is a Swedish brand that designs and makes sustainable, functional and innovative toys to encourage more play for all children. Their stacking rings and Bead frame would make perfect 1st Christmas gifts for babies and toddlers. Budding chefs and baristas will love the Grocery shopping set and the Coffee Maker set. Children love to role play and 'pretend’ and these toys really let them explore and create a sense of independence.

Last week also saw us launch bike brand Banwood. We’ve always loved their balance bikes and were so pleased that with the new store space we could become an official stockist. The bikes are available to order online and can be shipped directly to you in around 5 days – just in case you’re still looking for that special 'big' gift.

They come in a range of beautiful colours and with matching helmets that cleverly twist dial to fit your child’s head, so quick and easy to pop on and safely zoom off!

Whilst we know that realistically Christmas is really all about the little people in our lives, we haven’t forgotten the mummas and the grown ups. We’ve had a restock of the gorgeous Plum & Ashby range and we are now stocking Ethel & Co candles.

They produce wonderful seasonal scents, made from natural and non toxic cocosoy wax and hand poured in small batches. They make lovely little gifts and offer a little bit of indulgence and luxury at what can be a frantic and tiring time for grown ups!

Don’t forget that you can shop online with us right up until Friday 20th December and you can also collect in store free of charge at Creake Abbey right up until Monday 23rd December.
