Little Signs of Spring

Little Signs of Spring

Despite all the chaos and grim weather that all these recent storms have bought if you look closely, there’s gorgeous little signs of Spring popping up everywhere. The days are getting longer and we spotted wild primroses in the garden last weekend. Also this week, we had a lovely stomp about at Walsingham Abbey amongst the most beautiful carpets of Snowdrops. If you’re visiting Norfolk this half term do try and pay a visit. The woodland valley is so beautiful with a stream cutting through with a couple of little bridges for little ones to march across and there’s some great refuels stops in the village for coffee, lunch, tea and cake…

Half term is the perfect time to visit our new store at Creake Abbey as we’ve had lots of new, exciting stock delivered this week. We are so thrilled to be stocking Dick Pearce Belly Boards for little ones. We cannot wait for it to be warm enough to take them out at our favourite beach spots. In fact, I wonder if a dry suit could mean that’s sooner rather than later?! Googles thermal dry suit…  We’ve also had a very summery looking delivery from our popular brand Liewood which include some great silicon beach sets and some gorgeous hammam striped beach cover up ponchos. The ridiculously popular Sindy sandals from last summer have had an upgrade and a re-launch as the Bre sandal with some new colour ways to match. We’re also super excited to launch the new Spring Sumer Olivier collection next week. Hurry up summer!

In the meantime, do save the date for our second Easter Event at Creake Abbey. Following on from last years’ success we will be running an Easter Egg hunt from Monday 6th April through to Saturday 11th when the Spring Fair will also be taking place. But on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th April we will have some bookable sessions with Hartbeeps and Go Creation Station at our main event, ticket details to follow!

With Spring in mind and the days getting brighter we’ve been attempting a bit of a Spring clean at the home as well as the shop. We have some great new baskets including a huge laundry basket made from sustainable palm plants which we really love. We’ve also been making everything a bit more sparkly and fresh using the amazing products from Norfolk Natural Living – we particularly love the scented vinegar sprays for really freshen things up.

Laundry Basket £69

We hope to see some new and familiar faces at Creake Abbey over half term and Easter! x
