Hello 2020

Hello 2020

After diving feet first into our new shop just 4 weeks before Christmas, here at Marshes & Flint we are using this quiet January time to take stock and plan ahead for a wonderful 2020.

We’re not exactly ones for making resolutions but (with the help of Sam James Life Coach) we do like setting out intentions. And this year our intentions centre around keeping things simple and really trying to connect with our local community, customers and all that our beloved, beautiful Norfolk has to offer.

January and February can so often seem such arduous and long months (doesn’t January have about 62 days to it?!) but we’re going to use our time wisely to set out our year ahead, rest and take time with our families. We hope you can too!

First up for us is planning for another Easter event, here at Creake Abbey, set in the beautiful North Norfolk coast, close to Burnham Market. After the success of last year’s we are looking forwarding to seeing some familiar and new faces and hopefully some beautiful Spring weather so everyone can get outside and enjoy our egg hunt in the Abbey ruins as well as some fun activities and delicious Easter treats from the café.

Living so close to the coast we have always felt a strong pull to the water and this summer we're looking forward to spending as much time near, in or on it, as possible! We’ll see the launch of some fab new beach products and some beautiful swimwear for our little ones.

Whilst looking forward to brighter days and warmer temperatures we shall also be getting ready to launch our Spring/Summer clothing collections and taking some research trips away from Norfolk. Watch this space for a blog post or two documenting our adventures, discoveries and of course refuel stops!

In the meantime, don’t forget to have a look at our end of season clearance on Sproet & Sprout and there’s still a few Meri Meri Christmas decorations and accessories up for grabs – all with up to 50% off.

Wishing you all the best for 2020.

The Marshes & Flint Team xx
