Beautiful Babywearing

Beautiful Babywearing

Introducing Smallhausen a wonderful small business owned by the lovely Cassie. They make beautifully designed, super soft, baby wraps to keep your little one safe and snug. I instantly fell in love with their gorgeous prints and ethos so couldn't wait to bring them to Marshes & Flint for you all to enjoy too.

Babywearing has so many benefits and carrying your baby in a Smallhausen Wrap is a wonderful way to bond with your baby. I loved carrying my little one she was always so happy plus it meant I could grab a few minutes hands free! Plus holding your baby close can stimulate that amazing hormone called oxytocin which can in turn promote milk supply, helping to facilitate breastfeeding. Your Smallhausen Wrap can also be used as a cover while feeding your baby.

Smallhausen Baby Wraps can be used from newborn through to 12 months. Their carriers are made using either 100% Cotton or a blend of Cotton and Modal fibres and come folded into a handy drawstring bag, perfect for storing in a nappy bag or under the buggy.  All of their fabrics are natural, breathable and sustainably sourced. They use Lenzing Modal which is a super soft, sustainably sourced fibre made from the wood pulp of the Beech Tree. As well as being extremely comfortable to wear, Modal's unique properties include durability and resistance to shrinkage and pilling.

All of their dyes are tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 which means that they don’t contain any nasties that will harm your baby.

Putting on a Smallhausen Baby Wrap is simple when you know how and getting the perfect fit will become second nature in no time at all. They have created a super handy video (see below) to help you achieve the perfect fit in no time.  We are very excited to welcome them to Marshes & Flint
